Stanza I

Argots and lingos, murmurs and mumbles,

spread and stretch, ranch and reach——

drape or unfold, humbleness upholds,

the rays shall expose, traces, sparks have pursuant souls.

Stanza II

junctures, occasions and passes, incidents, episodes, crossing points,

squirrels jump up and down, while the persistency prevails the pond,

is it pure joy, or being entangled within and abandoned merry go around,

or, is it the survival, subsistence, the enduring moments to fulfil and bond.

Stanza III

To tilt the head, to change the point, complementing and harmonizing the mind,

glare and contemplate, frown and scowl, dazzle and shine,

shooting stars, one at the time, abandonments or alterations,

being in exchange of a mesmerizing trailing clue and enlightening rod,

the edifying, illuminating transaction of a, spontaneous incident of lien or exchange,

a bestowment, the conferment, or a detriment, to sacrifice, and expense.

Stanza IV

How could the dimming tail, the sacrificed embodiment of immensity and heaven,

darken and obscure, deepen and dim, the spotting, perceiving trail,

is it an illusion, artifice, or semblance,

or no, to remember, reminisce, and evoke,

the retentions and references are entailed to exist.

Stanza V

While, waves and surges, curls and surfs,

the ripples and rollers intertwine and interlace, merely to,

step and start, budge and shift, and nudge and jolt,

the alchemy that reigns and runs, and judges and leads——

the scenes, sights, and outlooks, forests and trees, shrubs and weeds,

to gesture and shrug, and nod and point.

Themes & Interpretations

Language as Territory

Argots and lingos are not merely communicative systems — they are claims upon epistemological ground. Every act of understanding involves crossing into another’s specialized, group-bounded domain of meaning.

The Pursuant Spark

“Sparks have pursuant souls” — fragmentary traces of illumination are animated, possessed of teleological drive. They seek what they will ignite. The residues of understanding do not fade passively; they pursue their completion.

The Illuminating Transaction

Every shooting star — every moment of insight — is a transaction involving a lien, an exchange, a bestowment against a detriment. Illumination is never free; it always demands the sacrifice of a prior framework.

The Dimming Tail’s Paradox

The shooting star’s tail illuminates and, in dimming, obscures the very trail it revealed. The instruments of understanding become obstacles as they fade — a genuine epistemological hazard confronted and resolved by memory.

Retentions Entailed to Exist

Memory and reference are not optional features of consciousness but ontological necessities — logically entailed conditions of coherent existence. Without them, the dimming tail would render all trails permanently lost.

The Alchemical Gesture

After five stanzas of linguistic plurality and philosophical inquiry, the poem resolves into “to gesture and shrug, and nod and point.” The pointed finger — predating all argots — is meaning at its most elemental: look there.
