World and wonders, the creation, conjugations, colligations and conjunctions,
the moments and occasions to embrace; palaces, citadels, and bastions to enter,
is it the momentous impulses, decisive sprees and splurges,
the indulgent strolls within the realm of occurrences and circumstances,
the spheres of cognizance; the mazes of reflections, contemplations and deliberations,
or the jaunt, merely leaning to, the saunters, ambles and rambles of gestures and overtures,
the spheres of pure acceptance, concurrences and assents,
the response, retort, and adore, the spontaneous postures, bearings and carriages.

Occasions and moments, trackers and chasers, hunters and shadows,
of, globes and planets, the domains, circles and orbits,
to remain silent and still, observants, taciturn and reticent advocates,
the perceptive and insightful sponsors, arduous and operose instigators and composers,
to conjugate and congeal, to spread, unfurl and unseal,
while, continuum, the pendulums pertain to sway, and sand watches contain and flip.

Distinctions, dissimilarities and discrepancies, enigmas, paradoxes and mysteries,
to evoke and conjure, remind and arouse, the parades, carnivals and pageants,
decorations, merits, and honors, elicit and educe, depict and render,
while, preparations and provisions do proceed, persist and prevail,
bafflements, bewilderments and bemusements, perplexities, confusions, and befuddlements,
beckon and bid, the injured eagles, bruised wings, would not neglect the gales and winds, indecisions, hesitancies, and uncertainties, shall not to curtail, shorten or inhibit,
rudders, helms, and steers, revive to spin.

Sky to arouse, silos to shatter, the norms to revoke, customs to remorse,
and then, the bruised wings, enter the eater, repeal the rejects, exhume the dreads,
refuse and rebuff, phobias and fears, the rain to refresh, the hail enliven,
exclaim and bellow, roar and holler; borders and margins, the rims and edges,
are not to perceive, or be sensed or concede, hurdles do not guide, nor, bundle and lead.

Peaks are abundant, ceilings have to bend, blue arenas, elate horizons,
valleys redundance, ravines to circle, the gorges are lush, outlooks to entail,
slopes roll, trundle and troll, tangents up and down, seas dance ebbs and tides,
surges and rushes, waves and drifts; the oceans and seas, escape the forfeit,
it is the intents, urges not to curtail, ambits and ranges, causes do commend,
earnest, burning stages, paces, popup to pilot—
navigate the tail, maneuver the herd—

Webs and meshes, tangles and snarls, the vanes and strips,
deprive and deny, refuse or reject, and forbid and forgo,
or, endorse and support, ratify and favor, validate and approve,
the core and substance, reveal and divulge, expose and disperse.

The Architecture of Movement

The poem proposes that truth is the revolution. Characterized by relentless forward propulsion, enacted through cascading verb structures (“stretch, bounce, leap and jump”) and triadic nouns. The poem maps an environment where stillness is a temporary posture—a gathered breath—before the next surge.

Elasticity of Scale

A central achievement is the seamless compression and expansion of scale. Moving from the macroscopic (“globes and planets”) directly to the granular (“sand watches”), it asserts that wonder is scale-independent. We move from breaking self-imposed limits (shattering silos) to demanding vertical limits yield (ceilings bending).

Enter the Eater

The phrase “the bruised wings, enter the eater” redefines courage. The damaged self does not circumnavigate the threat; it enters it. This immersion transforms the devouring force into a site of revivification, arguing that vitality is found exclusively on the far side of confrontation.

Dispersal of Truth

The closing line shifts the paradigm of knowledge. Wisdom is frequently depicted as a treasure to be guarded. The poem reverses this: to truly validate the core is to “expose and disperse” it. Wonder cannot be hoarded; it demands distribution, assigning an ethical duty to the observer.

Bewilderment as Vocation

Confusion is presented not as an obstacle but an invitation. “Bewilderments and bemusements… beckon and bid” places epistemic inadequacy at the center of the creative life. To be bewildered is to be fully alive to complexity, transforming confusion into an active call forward rather than a dead end.

Limits as Perceptual

“Borders and margins… are not to perceive, or be sensed or concede.” Limits exist only to the consciousness that grants them reality. The poem insists that hurdles have no guidance authority unless the self elects to follow their direction. The self leads, through or over it.
